Lightware is an architectural lighting design studio fully dedicated to delivering the best artificial lighting design to architecture and urbanism. We are an international team of architects with academic degrees in Light and Lighting, led by Diana Del-Negro.

 Diana is an Architect, holds a MSc degree in Heritage Rehabilitation and a PhD in Artificial Lighting by University College London. She combines almost 20 years of practice in lighting with research and scientific publications, to deliver the best that light can bring to the perception of space and architecture. She is also an active member of the CIE (The International Commission on Illumination) where she is Head of the Committee working on the international guide for lighting urban elements.

We work on different scales and themes– from making Lighting Masterplans for cities centres, to lighting some of the most iconic monuments and spaces of Lisbon - rotunda Marquês de Pombal, Praça do Comércio, Igreja e miradouro da Graça, and developing  full projects for the interiors and exteriors of Hotels, Museums, industry and restaurants.
